Woman survives as man’s murder-suicide attempt fails

A 30-year-old CEPEP em­ploy­ee has man­aged to sur­vive an at­tempt on her life ear­ly this morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, around 6:40 am to­day, Kadeisha We­st­on-Ran­some was work­ing along Con­tention Road in In­di­an Walk when she was ac­cost­ed by a man known to her.

The woman at­tempt­ed to run away but her at­tack­er man­aged to deal her sev­er­al chop­ping blows. 

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands We­st­on-Ran­some sus­tained wounds to her head and arms. Her at­tack­er then at­tempt­ed to take his own life.

They both were tak­en to hos­pi­tal for treat­ment.
