Many residents of the St Ann’s main road who traverse through this area every day are getting blockages to pass through the narrow two-way road.
I am not sure if the Town and Country department has carefully planned and allowed for shops along this road to operate for the legal sale of food items, alcohol, lottery tickets and other items without a proper carpark.
On an afternoon there is a long row of cars on the side, with persons just parking wherever they please causing the road users a very difficult time to manoeuvre through the “already” narrow road.
It’s a nuisance to all travellers both on foot and by car as the pavement is being used as a car spot as well.
Secondly, along the Ariapita Road and Fondes Amandes bridge area, there are derelict cars parked, surely this is a parking violation and health safety issue affecting all residents in the area?
How long will this lawlessness be allowed to continue? Come on, let’s show we know how first-world countries live and properly and abide by the rules. Let’s not obstruct the roadways!
We need the authorities to clamp down!
