Row­ley wrote Richards last week ask­ing that Mo­hammed be re­moved from the po­si­tion as he was un­suit­able for the job. Row­ley said Mo­hammed's tenure "has be­come even more un­ten­able in the face of his reck­less, self-serv­ing com­ments." Row­ley said Mo­hammed's state­ment was un­for­tu­nate. He said it was an at­tack on the in­tegri­ty of pre­vi­ous Po­lice Ser­vice Com­mis­sions and it threat­ened the so­cial fab­ric and sta­bil­i­ty of T&T. He is al­so call­ing on Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar to say whether the Gov­ern­ment will use its spe­cial ma­jor­i­ty in Par­lia­ment to "rec­ti­fy his per­ceived racial dis­crim­i­na­tion in the Po­lice Ser­vice."
