Neal & Massy Cale­do­nia AIA will con­tin­ue the de­fence of its T&T Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion FA Tro­phy ti­tle against Joe Pub­lic's East­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion line-up on Wednes­day at the Hase­ly Craw­ford Sta­di­um, Mu­cu­rapo, in the sec­ond match of a dou­ble-head­er from 7 pm.

This was de­ter­mined when the draw for the last-16 teams in the com­pe­ti­tion was made at Har­vard Sports Club, Ser­pen­tine Road, yes­ter­day. The "Mor­vant Stal­lions," as Cale­do­nia are called, be­gan their de­fence with an 8-0 ham­mer­ing of Pe­tit Val­ley Unit­ed on Wednes­day, led by a Trevin Cae­sar hat-trick while Joe Pub­lic (EFA) whipped Youth Stars 5-1.

De­fence Force, which was beat­en in the FA fi­nal by Cale­do­nia, al­so won 8-0 over Queen's Park, in­spired by a Michael Ed­wards hat-trick while Stoke­ly Vale stunned T&T Pro League's St Ann's Rangers 3-2 in their match­es.

In the oth­er round-of-16 en­coun­ters sched­uled for Wednes­day, Mathu­ra faces Cunu­pia, 1st FC San­ta Rosa plays North East Stars, T&TEC bat­tles En­ter­prise Youths, Pt Fortin Civic Cen­tre is at home to Joe Pub­lic (Su­per League), OJ Sol­da­do All Stars is at home to Shi­va Boys' Hin­du Col­lege and Cen­tral FC faces the win­ner of the out­stand­ing round-of-32 meet­ing be­tween Rox­bor­ough Lak­ers and Po­lice.
