T&T's Ayan­na Mc Clean has been ap­point­ed to um­pire at the In­ter­na­tion­al Hock­ey Fed­er­a­tion's Ju­nior World Cup tour­na­ment sched­uled for Monchenglad­bach, Ger­many, from Sat­ur­day to Au­gust 4.

The for­mer na­tion­al hock­ey play­er is set to ar­rive in Ger­many to­day for the pre-tour­na­ment brief­ing and fit­ness test.

She has al­so ac­cept­ed the ap­point­ment for the Pan Am Cup tour­na­ment in Men­doza, Ar­genti­na, from Sep­tem­ber 21-28. The win­ner of the Pan Am Cup qual­i­fies for the 2014 Women's World Cup in The Hague.

Mc Clean's ap­point­ments fol­lows be­ing nom­i­nat­ed for the World Um­pir­ing De­vel­op­ment Pro­gramme, a lead up to the World Cup and Olympic Games.

The Ven­tures Hock­ey Club mem­ber has al­so been ap­point­ed to car­ry the whis­tle as a neu­tral um­pire at the South Amer­i­can Hock­ey Cham­pi­onships in San­ti­a­go, Chile, from March 6-16, 2014.
