T&T's men's hock­ey team will play the Unit­ed States for the bronze medals to­mor­row from 4.30 pm at the fouth Pan Amer­i­can Cup, in Bramp­ton, Toron­to, Cana­da.

T&T went un­der to world 10th ranked Ar­genti­na 8-0 in the first of two semi­fi­nals yes­ter­day.

In the sec­ond semi­fi­nal, hosts Cana­da edged the USA 1-0 with a tenth minute item from Sukhi Pane­sar.

The South Amer­i­cans led T&T 2-0 at the half via two penal­ty-cor­ner con­ver­sions from Gon­za­lo Peil­lat in the 29th and 34th min­utes.

How­ev­er, in the sec­ond-half, the Ar­gen­tines stepped up the pace and added items through Lu­cas Rey (39th), Lu­cas Vi­la (45th), Guiller­mo Schick­en­dantz (52nd), Juan Aguilleiro (52nd), Le­an­dro Toli­ni (55th) and Peil­lat, who com­plet­ed his hat-trick in the 63rd minute.

Ar­genti­na and Cana­da meet in to­mor­row's fi­nal from 7 pm.

The win­ner of the tour­na­ment qual­i­fies for next year's Men's World Cup in The Hague, Hol­land.
