Thir­ty-nine of this coun­try's lead­ing top youth ath­letes, 22 boys and 19 girls will be in line for the ho­n­ours when the First Cit­i­zens Sports Foun­da­tion stage its fifth an­nu­al Youth Awards on Fri­day to ho­n­our the best of 2014.

The func­tion will be held at the Hy­att Re­gency Ho­tel, Wright­son Road, Port-of-Spain, fea­tur­ing nom­i­nees in both boys and girls cat­e­gories in bad­minton, chess, cy­cling, foot­ball, golf, hock­ey, rug­by, squash, swim­ming, ta­ble-ten­nis, taek­won­do, tar­get archery, ten­nis, track and field, and vol­ley­ball while kart­ing, kayak­ing, crick­et, karate, pow­er­lift­ing, sail­ing, surf­ing, and triathlon has one rep­re­sen­ta­tive each.
