Thirty-nine of this country's leading top youth athletes, 22 boys and 19 girls will be in line for the honours when the First Citizens Sports Foundation stage its fifth annual Youth Awards on Friday to honour the best of 2014.
The function will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain, featuring nominees in both boys and girls categories in badminton, chess, cycling, football, golf, hockey, rugby, squash, swimming, table-tennis, taekwondo, target archery, tennis, track and field, and volleyball while karting, kayaking, cricket, karate, powerlifting, sailing, surfing, and triathlon has one representative each.
