Mara­bel­la Fam­i­ly Cri­sis Cen­tre will be go­ing all out to fin­ish as win­ners of the T&T Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Cham­pi­on of Cham­pi­ons Tour­na­ment which serves as a qual­i­fi­er to next sea­son's Na­tion­al Su­per League when it faces Sidey's FC to­day.

Cur­rent­ly, North­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion cham­pi­ons, Po­lice FC head the ta­ble with ten points from their five match sched­ule and are cer­tain of one of the three pro­mo­tion spots, while Mara­bel­la Fam­i­ly, the South­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion win­ners are sec­ond with sev­en points go­ing in­to their match with the To­ba­go Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion cham­pi­ons at the Man­nie Ramjohn Sta­di­um, Mara­bel­la this af­ter­noon.

And while a draw maybe enough for Mara­bel­la to qual­i­fy, team man­ag­er Ter­ence Boissiere says his team will be go­ing af­ter vic­to­ry.

Buoyed by his team's 3-2 win over East­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion win­ners Mal­ta Carib Al­cons on Sun­day, Boissiere said, "Ba­si­cal­ly we know that with a draw we maybe able to qual­i­fy, but our aim is to top the ta­ble over­all."

"We feel as SFA win­ners we have a du­ty to try our best and get a win and send a pos­i­tive mes­sage ahead of the next sea­son", added Boissiere.

To­day's en­counter will be on­ly the sec­ond of the tour­na­ment for Sidey's FC as it had to resched­ule their first three match­es due to trav­el­ling dif­fi­cul­ties be­tween the two is­lands while they went un­der to Po­lice 1-0 at the Spey­side Recre­ation Ground in their open­er on Sun­day.

To­mor­row, Sidey's FC will play their sec­ond of back-to-back match­es in Trinidad when they trav­el to Matu­ra Recre­ation Ground, Matu­ra, for a 4 pm clash with third placed Matu­ra Re­unit­ed, the East­ern Coun­ties Foot­ball Union' cham­pi­ons, who are third on the six-team ta­ble with five points, the same as Cen­tral cham­pi­ons, Cunu­pia FC.

Sidey's FC will then face Mal­ta Carib Al­cons on April 20 at Spey­side on Mon­day April 20, be­fore clos­ing out the tour­na­ment against Cunu­pia at Ed­in­burgh 500 Recre­ation Ground, two days lat­er, and both from 4 pm.
