The West Indies will go into the fourth and final Seagrams Test tomorrow looking to prevent India from completing a 3-0 series win, which will take them to the top of the world in the Test cricket rankings.

India needs to win to reach the top. The West Indies are languishing at number eight in the rankings and will be hoping that they can get a win to at least narrow the series 2-1.

India won the first Test in Antigua while the second in Jamaica ended in a draw and the Indians prevailed again in St Lucia on the weekend.

West Indies captain Jason Holder blamed the batsmen for his team's position. "Our batting has been our let down. The bowlers have been getting better and better. In the last Test, they did a good job and we will be hoping for more from them in this Test.

"The batters must take responsibilty for the poor showing. I am not sure what we have to do to correct the flaws but I think one thing is that we as batsmen have to put a heavy price on our wicket and be patient."

West Indies trained at the Queen's Park Oval yesterday after taking the day off on Monday and will return to the venue again today to continue preparations.

The Indians also had a workout and middle order batsman Ajinkya Rahane says they will be looking to dominate. "Mood has been fantastic in the dressing room. Our goal is to play attacking cricket and dominate West Indies here. We have been playing good cricket and it is important to finish well.

"Three-zero will be very good and our long term goal is to be the number one Test team. But it is important to stay in the present moment. As Virat Kohli said earlier, we want to express ourselves in the middle. That means we want to dominate here again like we did in the first three Tests.

"We have dominated every single day in this series and dominated every single Test so far. So it is important to be in that process regularly and think about achieving that no.1 Test status as a team."

Ticket sales for the match have been slow but is expected to pick up today according to officials from the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB).
