Leader AC Port-of-Spain (AC PoS) and second-placed Miscellaneous Police FC will both be hoping to boost their title aspirations when the 2023/2024 T&T Premier Football League (TTPFL) Tier I Division resumes Wednesday with a full slate of matches.
AC Port-of-Spain (AC PoS) sits top of the 11-club table with 33 points from 14 matches, two more than Police FC who have played a match more while defending double crown champions Defence Force is third with 27 points, two ahead of Tiger Tanks Club Sando while Terminix La Horquetta Rangers is fifth with 24 followed by Prison Service FC with 21, Heritage Petroleum Point Fortin Civic with 20, and Caledonia AIA with 17 and in the last mathematical spot to win the title.
Following a break for the Easter Holidays, AC Port-of-Spain and Defence Force will lock horns in the second match of a mouth-watering double-header at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo from 8.10 pm.
In the opening match at Mucurapo, Miscellaneous Police FC, second on the standings comes up against the inform Caledonia.
Up at the Arima Municipal Stadium, a double header is also on the cards with Eagles FC facing Terminix La Horquetta Rangers from 6 pm followed by Prison Service FC and Point Fortin Civic from 8.10 pm while over in Tobago, 1976 FC Phoenix will host Club Sando in an early kick off from 4 pm.
