Brian Chase Academy (BCA) and Defence Force will battle for the Open Women's Division title in the Female Basketball Association (FemBA) League.
BCA defeated Police Service, 74-62, in a closely contested Final Four semifinal matchup on Monday night at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Tacarigua.
Brian Chase Academy was led by Nakiya Baptiste with 24 points, five rebs, four steals and Allison Young, who registered a double-double scoring 23 points and grabbing 19 rebs. She also shared the ball four times, stole the ball three times and had two blocks.
For Police, Kielle Connelly scored 22 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and five steals, Joelisa Cooper scored 15 points and pulled down six rebounds and four assists and Leslie-Ann Bacquain added 13 points.
Defence Force reached the final after easily beating a young Enterprise team, 101-41.
Jameela Mc Carthy led the army/coastguard combination team with 20 points, 14 rebound and 10 assists, Alicia Liverpool had a double-double 25 points and 10 rebounds Trimmaine Guenteavme added 16 points and another double-double Crystal-Ann George 14 points and 12 rebounds.
In the Under-15 Division, Enterprise will play Spartans TT in the title match.
