Tiger Tanks Club Sando’s move to seventh on the 11-team T&T Pro League standings was the only change after last Thursday’s rescheduled match with Police FC at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
With the one point received from the result, the southerners moved one point up to 16, thereby leaping over San Juan Jabloteh on a superior goal difference of two to Jabloteh’s -8.
The Lawmen, who were on 22 points in third, have now joined Terminix La Horquetta Rangers on 23 points, but have an inferior goal differential.
In the rescheduled encounter at the Couva venue, Kemuel Rivers fired Club Sando into the lead with a 29th-minute strike. His teammate Keron Cornwall gave them a two-goal cushion with his item in the 32nd minute.
However, the Lawmen got a revival when Joshua Leach pulled one back on the stroke of half-time (45th minute) before Juma Clarence levelled the scores some 10 minutes from the end of the match (80th minute).
The table, however, remains under the control of leaders Defence Force on 32 points from 13 matches, with the La Horquetta men nine points behind them in second on 23 points from the same amount of games.
The league is set to resume after the Carnival festivities.
