Team Energiza have won this year’s Trinidad and Tobago Great Race.
Driver Sheldon Edghill and throttleman Anthony Brash took the title after steering their 37’ Bowen past Tobago-owned boat Jesus is Coming in the waters between Toco and Store Bay, where the smaller Jesus is Coming found it a little more difficult due to the choppy waters.
Team Energiza never looked back after that and cruised to the overall title and the 95mph class trophy as well.
Veteran racer Ken Charles and his Mr Solo Too crew had to settle for second overall but lifted a record 17th 130mph title in his record 50th race.
Heatwave was third overall and the 80mph winner while Jesus is Coming took the Cruiser Class title and was fourth overall.
Stay tuned for the official times on the race.
