Two-time defending Digicel Pro League champions, Clico San Juan Jabloteh will go after its first win in the Concacaf Champions League group stages when it faces CD Marathon of Honduras tonight.
The Group B match day two clash takes place at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano, San Pedro Sula, from 10 pm.
The San Juan club, coached by St Lucian Earl Jean, will be hoping to rebound from its 1-0 loss to Mexican Apertura champions and two-time Concacaf club winners, CD Toluca at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on Thursday. Marathon, meanwhile, whipped US Major League club, DC United 3-1 in its opener at home and will be confident of another win. Jabloteh left here on Sunday and will be strengthened by the inclusion of former England-based defender, 35-year-old Dennis "Tallest" Lawrence.
Lawrence, who moved to England's Wrexham in 2001 from Defence Force made his return to the Pro League in his club's 2-0 win over Caledonia AIA of Morvant/Laventille on Saturday after spells with Swansea City and Crewe Alexandra, in England also. However, Jabloteh will have to cope without national Under-20 defenders, Robert Primus and Sheldon Bateau, who left with the national team for a pre-Fifa Under-20 World Cup tour on Sunday. Marathon is coming off a 2-2 with Olimpia at the same venue on Saturday to remain top of the Honduran Apertura league.
