So­ca War­riors teenage strik­er, Shah­don Win­ches­ter, of W Con­nec­tion, is ex­pect­ed to leave for a two-week tri­al as Scot­tish Pre­mier Di­vi­sion gi­ants, Celtic to­day. The ex-Na­pari­ma Col­lege strik­er was scout­ed dur­ing the ear­ly parts of the cur­rent Dig­i­cel Pro League sea­son and the leg­endary "Old Firm" pow­er­house has moved for­ward their in­ter­est by ex­tend­ing an in­vi­ta­tion to him to join them for a two-week tri­al.

Hav­ing been at W Con­nec­tion's youth acad­e­my since age eight, Win­ches­ter made his first se­nior ap­pear­ance for the club at the age of 16. He has al­so rep­re­sent­ed his club in the pres­ti­gious Con­ca­caf Cham­pi­ons League in 2009 and has been a mem­ber of the na­tion­al set-up from the Un­der-14, Un­der-15 and Un­der-17 lev­els. His tal­ent has not es­caped the eyes of So­ca War­riors coach Rus­sell Lat­apy, as he is a cur­rent­ly a mem­ber of the se­nior team prepar­ing for the up­com­ing Dig­i­cel Caribbean Cup.
