A lone goal by An­tho­ny Wolfe was good enough to lead Di­recTV North East Stars to a 1-0 quar­ter­fi­nal win over fel­low Dig­i­cel Pro League club, Ma Pau in their T&T Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion FA Tro­phy clash, yes­ter­day.

Wolfe, a mem­ber of the So­ca War­riors squad that re­cent­ly re­turned from a dis­ap­point­ing cam­paign in the Dig­i­cel Caribbean Cup Fi­nals in Mar­tinique net­ted in the 25th minute which in the end proved de­ci­sive for Stars, the 2003 FA win­ner in the first match of dou­ble-head­er at the Ato Boldon Sta­di­um, Cou­va.

At the Mar­vin Lee Sta­di­um, Ma­coya, Cale­do­nia AIA, FA win­ner in 2008 edged Joe Pub­lic Su­per League line-up 5-4 on sud­den-death penal­ty-kicks af­ter a 2-2 dead­lock and 4-4 score­line af­ter the first five penal­ties.
