Six-time win­ner, De­fence Force will face 2003 cham­pi­on, Di­recTV North East Stars in one of two T&T Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion FA Tro­phy semi­fi­nals to be played on Jan­u­ary 12, 2011. The semi­fi­nal draw was made yes­ter­day the T&TFF head of­fice, Dun­don­ald Street, Port-of-Spain. In the oth­er semi­fi­nal, two for­mer win­ners, San Juan Jabloteh and Cale­do­nia AIA of Mor­vant/Laven­tille will lock horns for a spot in the FA fi­nal to be played on Jan­u­ary 26 at a venue to de de­cid­ed.

In the quar­ter­fi­nal round on Fri­day last, De­fence Force win­ners in 1974, 1981, 1985, 1989, 1991 and 1996 came from a goal down to beat St Ann's Rangers 3-1 in ex­tra-time while Stars edged Ma Pau 1-0. Two-time FA win­ner Jabloteh, (1998 and 2005) Jabloteh blanked La Brea All Stars 5-0 in its last-eight match and Cale­do­nia got the bet­ter Joe Pub­lic Su­per League squad, 5-4 on sud­den-death penal­ty-kicks af­ter a 2-2 draw.
