Chloe Fras­er of Queen’s Park Crick­et Club was the lone play­er to top two dif­fer­ent age-groups when the T&T Ta­ble Ten­nis As­so­ci­a­tion held its first tri­als com­pe­ti­tion for se­lec­tion to the na­tion­al ju­nior and se­nior teams at the Na­tion­al Rack­et Cen­tre, Or­ange Grove Road, Tacarigua on the week­end.

Hav­ing topped the Girls Un­der-11 Di­vi­sion tri­als at the same venue on Sat­ur­day, Fras­er re­turned 24 hours lat­er to take the top spot in the Un­der-13 age-group ahead of Bago Slam­mers’ Bri­an­na Solomon, Ash­lea Mo­hammed of Ari­ma Ta­ble Ten­nis Club, and WASA’s Shreya Maraj in that or­der re­spec­tive­ly.

Among the boys’ Un­der-13 com­peti­tors, Sachin Ram­sumair of Petrotrin emerged as the win­ner fol­lowed by Samuel Humphreys of Ari­ma Ta­ble Ten­nis Club, Mal­ick Gopaul of Petrotrin, and Blasters’ Gabriel John. ,

In the Un­der-18 Girls’, Shreya Ma­haraj of Care­nage Blasters, made up for her third-place fin­ish in the women’s event on Sat­ur­day when she de­feat­ed Bago Slam­mers’ Ack­y­la Lu­cas, and War­renville Unit­ed duo, Rayan­na Bood­han and De­r­ah Ra­moutar.

Der­ron Dou­glas who just avoid­ed the cel­lar-spot in the men’s Open six-play­ers tri­als topped the Un­der-18 Boys’ with Abra­ham Fran­cis, N’Kosi Rouse, Jessie Dook­ie and Javier King com­plet­ing the top five in that or­der.
