HAL­LAN­DALE BEACH – Bar­ba­di­an Saffie Joseph Jr con­tin­ued his dom­i­nant form at Gulf­stream Park when he cap­tured his 11th con­sec­u­tive train­ing ti­tle at the Sun­shine Meet in Flori­da, USA on Sun­day.

The 37-year-old Joseph ex­tend­ed his streak of train­ing ti­tle vic­to­ries at the meet­ing with 39 win­ners for this sea­son, an­chored by Breed­ers’ Cup cham­pi­ons Soul of An An­gel and MGISW White Abar­rio, who made a suc­cess­ful re­turn to the races this past week­end.

His suc­cess fol­lowed up his cap­ture of the Roy­al Palm Meet back in Sep­tem­ber, where he end­ed the sea­son with 93 vic­to­ries from 311 starters,

Mean­while, Ed­win Gon­za­lez claimed his first rid­ing ti­tle at Gulf­stream Park, pre­vail­ing over de­fend­ing cham­pi­on Edgard Za­yas by one win.

The 33-year-old jock­ey held a one-win lead over Za­yas, 35-34, head­ing in­to Sun­day’s 11-race pro­gram and nei­ther jock­ey made it in­to the win­ner’s cir­cle on clos­ing
