Three different players scored a try each as Trinidad Northern RFC completed the double in the 2019 T&T Rugby Football Union Championship Division by blanking arch-rivals Caribs RFC 22-0 to lift the league title at President's Ground, St Ann's, on Saturday.

Going into the final round of matches on Saturday, Northern (18 points), Caribs (17) and last year's league champions Harvard (15) all had a chance to claim the title.

However, by the half-time whistle Northen, captained by Adam Frederick, were well on their way to the title with a comfortable 22-0 lead seeking a second title to add to the Marcus Minshall Knockout Cup the team won last month.
