Floyd Trumpet is now fit and ready to enter the ring once more.
The welterweight boxer, who will be putting his Fedelatin crown on the line in November, will warm-up for the defence on September 19 against Richard Howard of Guyana. He is returning after an injury. Trumpet wil be defending his Fede Caribe welter weight title against Howard, who is a past champion of this same belt in the Lightweight Division. The two fighters will be appearing on the main bout on a card promoted by Cosmic Boxing Promotion.
Making his debut is the grandson of one of the most talented and famous boxers of the 1940's � 1950's, Fearless Freddy, who was a house hold name both in Trinidad and Venezuela. He is Mark Alexander. Although making a late start to his career, Alexander is sure to can carry the family name with pride. He never fought as an amateur but has been around the Gym all his life. His opponent is Guyanese-born Leon Dover.
