The inaugural "Camp Caiman" Sports Camp kicked off on Monday at the International School of Port-of-Spain (ISPS). Campers are involved in basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, badminton, kayaking, cricket, rugby and gymnastics. However, the sport of basketball is one of the top choice by participants.
The main objectives of the camp are to expose youths to the basic skills in many sports, to increase fitness and appreciation for sport, and to provide them with opportunities to live healthy lives. Camp co-ordinators are Ashmir Ali, ISPS basketball coach Albert Sprott and Teleshia Joseph. The camp ends on Friday.
