The in­au­gur­al "Camp Caiman" Sports Camp kicked off on Mon­day at the In­ter­na­tion­al School of Port-of-Spain (ISPS). Campers are in­volved in bas­ket­ball, vol­ley­ball, foot­ball, ta­ble ten­nis, bad­minton, kayak­ing, crick­et, rug­by and gym­nas­tics. How­ev­er, the sport of bas­ket­ball is one of the top choice by par­tic­i­pants.

The main ob­jec­tives of the camp are to ex­pose youths to the ba­sic skills in many sports, to in­crease fit­ness and ap­pre­ci­a­tion for sport, and to pro­vide them with op­por­tu­ni­ties to live healthy lives. Camp co-or­di­na­tors are Ash­mir Ali, ISPS bas­ket­ball coach Al­bert Sprott and Teleshia Joseph. The camp ends on Fri­day.
