Trinidad Guardian sports re­porter, Gre­go­ry Tru­jil­lo, who was di­ag­nosed with pan­cre­at­ic can­cer and sub­se­quent­ly had surgery last year, has to go to the Unit­ed States to have a PET/CT Scan done on De­cem­ber 30.

The scan, which will de­ter­mine if can­cer has spread to oth­er or­gans, is not avail­able in T&T. As a re­sult, he is present­ly on a fundrais­ing dri­ve to cov­er the cost of hav­ing the test done. At present, Tru­jil­lo's health has been de­te­ri­o­rat­ing and he is ask­ing per­sons in­ter­est­ed in as­sist­ing with the ven­ture to con­tact 721-1516.
