Nicholas Romany clocked 15 minutes and 40 seconds to win the RBC Race for the Kids 5k event from Genesis Joseph (16:21) and Jordan Ross (17:06) respectively as 3,052 runners (men and women) completed the course. April Francis copped the women's division behind 20 minutes and 28 seconds.
The 15k run was won by Sherwyn Stapleton, 30, who stopped the clock at 50 minutes and 26 seconds. Twenty-seven year-old Mitchell Christopher was less than a minute back (51:15) for second place, while Alexander Hodge, 30, sprinted to the finish-line to secure third place in 51:23 seconds. Lana Gobert was the top women's performer with a time of 58 minutes and 38 seconds. This event had 411 runners completing the coursewhich started and ended at the RBC Head Office, St Clair (opposite QRC) on Sunday morning.
