T&T’s Jace Quashie and Nathen Martin were both beaten in their pool deciders when the International Tennis Federation’s COTECC Trinidad Summer Bowl continued at the St Augustine Tennis Club in St Augustine on Sunday.
With both players already assured of places in the main draw, Quashie went under to Bermudan Mackal Whitter 1-4, 0-4 in Group One ahead of today’s start of knockout matches, while Martin fell to another Bermuda, Antonio Warner, 0-4, 0-4, in Group Two.
In the girls’ draw, Cameron Wong maintained her 100 per cent winning record by beating Ariel Kelsick of Antigua & Barbuda 4-0, 4-0.
