Arissa Romany smashed six goals in Bishop Anstey High School's third win in the Girls Championships' North Zone in the Shell/First Citizen's Secondary Schools Football League on Sunday.
Playing at the St Joseph's Convent ground in Port-of-Spain, Romany piloted her team to a 9-0 victory over Success Laventille to complete its third triumph in the season
Annais Ferguson and Joanna Kennedy were also on target for Bishop while the other item came off an own goal, to help sink Success Laventille to its unfortunate six straight loss.
Across the way at Nelson Mandela Park in St Clair, Charlize Hood slammed three goals in Holy Name's sixth successive win. The unbeaten leader of the zone crushed Tranquility, 9-0.
Hood's teammates Shaday Grell, Havana Ramdeen and Analeisse Arneaud were just as amazing in the win, with each netting a pair of goals.
In Diego Martin, Bethany Phillip scored the winner for Diego Martin Central, which edged St Joseph Convent 1-0.
There are two other unbeaten teams active remaining this season including Pleasantville in the South Zone and Signal Hill in the Tobago Zone.
Pleasantville claimed its fifth straight win on the weekend, getting another huge win, 7-0, against Fyzabad.
Over in Tobago, Gamelia Waldron and Dilleasia Nicholson each scored a double to see Signal Hill to a 6-1 win over Speyside High. It was the leader's sixth consecutive victory.
Meanwhile, in the Tobago Zone's Girls Under-15 competition, Nethaniah Alleyne produced a hattrick to lead Bishop's High to a 3-1 victory over Scarborough last Wednesday. Alliyah Williams scored the lone item for the losing side. Alleyne and teammate Kacey Mahabir was named the "Most Valuable Player" for Bishop's while Williams and Nkaya Harris shared the honours for Scarborough.
In the other match carded, Signal Hill was awarded three goals and three points for the win after Pentecostal Light and Life Foundation (PLLF) High, failed to show.
