Ba­jan-born Ri­han­na was so shocked and sick­ened the first time can­did pho­tos she had tak­en of her­self and sent to then-boyfriend Chris Brown were leaked on­line, she locked her­self away in an air­port re­stroom.

The S&M hit­mak­er had just land­ed in Hawaii in 2009 and was check­ing her cell­phone for mes­sages when friends and aides alert­ed her to the scan­dal sur­round­ing the graph­ic shots of her­self in var­i­ous states of un­dress.

Ri­han­na re­calls, "I could bare­ly stand. I went to the first bath­room I saw and just sat in the stall with the door open."Peo­ple kept com­ing in and star­ing at me sit­ting on the toi­let bowl. I was mor­ti­fied. I didn't even want to leave the air­port." But she in­sists that scan­dal and oth­ers that have fol­lowed haven't stopped her send­ing saucy snaps of her­self to lovers-but her men have be­come a lot more guard­ed. She tells Rolling Stone mag­a­zine, "I haven't got­ten a (naked) pic­ture in a long time. I think peo­ple are a lit­tle afraid. It can turn out bad."
