?A to­tal of 21 teams will square off against each oth­er when the Chi­nese Bi­cen­ten­ni­al Com­mit­tee, in con­junc­tion with the T&T Drag­on Boat Fed­er­a­tion, hosts the 203rd an­niver­sary of the Chi­nese ar­rival in T&T at the Kayak Cen­tre, Williams Bay, Ch­aguara­mas on Sun­day. From 8.30 am, the seas will be dot­ted with Drag­on Boats and the sounds of beat­ing drums the many races take flight along the 500 me­tres course.

The day promis­es to be a day of fun and com­pe­ti­tion with a menu of rich cul­tur­al en­ter­tain­ment start­ing from 11.30 am. A group of Chi­nese artists from main­land Chi­na has ar­rived to per­form sev­er­al acts which will in­clude Li­on and the Drag­on dances, Kung Fu styles, un­be­liev­able and ex­tra­or­di­nary gym­nas­tics acts as well as Chi­nese tra­di­tion­al and mod­ern songs. These will be in­cor­po­rat­ed with the mod­ern dancers and the in­clu­sion of the Chi­nese steel En­sem­ble, to give the spec­ta­tors a view of what the lo­cal Chi­nese have to of­fer.
