The left hander, who was named Player of the Series in last year's Indian Premier League, has scored his runs at a strike rate of 160.00 with nine fours and 21 sixes to his name. He is 48 runs clear of the next highest scoring batsman, Tim Birt of Hobart Hurricanes (184), and has cleared the ropes more than twice as many times as any other player.
Meanwhile, his clubmate Fidel Edwards has picked up five wickets at 26.40 apiece (Econ:8.25) in four games. Playing for the Sydney Sixers, Dwayne Bravo has hit 61 runs in three innings (SR: 112.96) and taken one wicket (Ave: 55.00, Econ: 9.16).
