Resonate Carnival launched its first presentation A Cosmic Experience at the Residence, One Woodbrook Place, Woodbrook, Port-of-Spain, on Saturday. The band features five sections: Aditi Queen of the 5 Suns, Ayizan The Planet of Miracles, Katesh The Goddess of Sacred Love, O-Ry-Yah The Mother of the Universe, and Ryu The Essence of Fluidity.
The owners of the new band say they have affordable costumes, with a space-aged cosmic-themed experience, that caters for 3,000 masquaders. The strategy is to target new masqueraders and those who don’t have a home band.
