The de­com­pos­ing body found at Heights of Aripo on Fri­day af­ter­noon re­mains uniden­ti­fied.

Up to Sat­ur­day, in­ves­ti­ga­tors were un­able to de­ter­mine the sex of the vic­tim due to the lev­el of de­com­po­si­tion.

The grue­some dis­cov­ery came around 5.15 pm on Jan­u­ary 28 by a bee-keep­er who had been on the way to check on his api­aries lo­cat­ed off a track lead­ing from the east­ern side of the road.

Ap­peal­ing to the pub­lic for help in iden­ti­fy­ing the vic­tim as scars and tat­toos are not dis­cernible, of­fi­cials said they will have to await the re­sults of a post-mortem to get fur­ther in­for­ma­tion.

The corpse was found ly­ing face-down and ap­peared to be bald.
