Police believe gang reprisals will follow the murder of a 22-year-old Cocorite man who was shot dead along the Western Main Road in Cocorite on Thursday night.
A car owned by the imam of a local masjid was set on fire in Waterhole, Cocorite, by angry residents soon after.
Adisa Harry was shot while driving along the Western Main Road near the West Shore Medical Centre in Cocorite, as another vehicle drove alongside him.
Harry was able to drive to the Four Roads Police Station car park, where he died.
Two other occupants, including a woman, were also shot and wounded.
They are both from Waterhole, Cocorite.
Police attached to the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region I are continuing enquiries.
