According to the statement from the Education Ministry, it assured that continued emphasis will be paid to supporting school personnel through the collaboration between the Education District Health Unit (EDHU) and the District County Medical Officer of Health (CMOH).
Additionally, according to the statement, TTUTA requested that they be provided with the draft recommendations from the ministry with respect to the operations of schools in Term II 2021/2022, following which they would deliberate and proffer comments.
The Education Ministry said this will be provided after today's meeting with the wider education stakeholder body.
