A 30-year-old soldier from Sangre Grande appeared in court today charged with the murder of six-year-old Kylie Meloney.
He is the second person to be charged with the child’s murder.
Kenfence “Fi Fi” Simmons, 30, an ex-soldier of Robinson Lane Road 1, Damarie Hill, Guaico, Sangre Grande, appeared virtually before Senior Magistrate Cheron Raphael in the Sangre Grande Magistrates’ Court.
He is the second person charged with the murder of Kylie Meloney to appear before Magistrate Raphael.
He listened attentively as the charges of murder, three counts of shooting with intent, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition were read to him.
Simmons was remanded in custody to reappear in Court on 13th February the same day with Murder accused Aaron London who was the second person charged with the murder.
