Officers of the North Eastern Division Gang Unit seized a high-powered rifle, a large quantity of ammunition, security protective wear, camouflage clothing and vehicle number plates during an anti-crime exercise yesterday.
The TTPS said based on information received, surveillance exercises were carried out, which led to the operation at Granado Street, 2nd Caledonia, Morvant.
During the exercise, officers searched an abandoned dwelling house and the surrounding area, where the following items were found buried in the yard:

1 camouflage trousers
↓4 pairs of vehicle number plates
10 Special Police Badges
9 rifle magazines
↓1 extended 9 millimetre magazine
2 rifle firearm grips
↓81 rounds of 5.56 millimetre ammunition
↓116 rounds of 45 millimetre ammunition
↓48 rounds of .45 millimetre ammunition
↓81 rounds of 9 millimetre ammunition
