The Jean De La Valette ferry is expected to go on dry dock today, and will be out of service until Saturday 8 February 2020.
In an official statement from the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company Ltd. (TTIT), the company advises that during the period of the ferry’s dry-docking, the T&T Spirit, the Galleons Passage and the MV Cabo Star will continue to operate.
As a result of the dry-docking of the Jean De La Valette, several sailings in February on the T&T Spirit have been cancelled.
For Thursday 6, Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February, the originally scheduled 6:30 am sailing departing from Port of Spain has been cancelled, and passengers will be accommodated instead on the 4 pm sailing. Meanwhile, the originally scheduled 4 pm sailing departing from Scarborough has been cancelled, and passengers will be accommodated instead on the 6:30 am sailing.
The TTIT assures that passengers affected by the changes do not need to revalidate their ferry tickets.
