De­fend­ing Ca­lyp­so Monarch Ter­ri Lyons will sing in po­si­tion num­ber one at to­mor­row night’s Di­manche Gras show at the Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah, Port-of-Spain.

Lyons, who did not have to par­tic­i­pate in the Ca­lyp­so Fi­es­ta se­mi-fi­nal as the de­fend­ing champ, pulled the po­si­tion from the 12 slots avail­able when the Trin­ba­go Uni­fied Ca­lyp­so­ni­ans’ Or­gan­i­sa­tion (TU­CO) staged the draw in Port-of-Spain yes­ter­day.

It is not cer­tain what Lyons will be singing, al­though it is like­ly she will go with House Clean­ing for the big stage.

Helon Fran­cis, a fron­trun­ner with his pow­er­ful hit Mighty, will sing in po­si­tion sev­en, while 2023 NWAC Na­tion­al Ca­lyp­so Queen Tamei­ka Dar­ius, with her pa­tri­ot­ic an­them Now More Than Ever, drew po­si­tion five.
