Defending Calypso Monarch Terri Lyons will sing in position number one at tomorrow night’s Dimanche Gras show at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain.
Lyons, who did not have to participate in the Calypso Fiesta semi-final as the defending champ, pulled the position from the 12 slots available when the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) staged the draw in Port-of-Spain yesterday.
It is not certain what Lyons will be singing, although it is likely she will go with House Cleaning for the big stage.
Helon Francis, a frontrunner with his powerful hit Mighty, will sing in position seven, while 2023 NWAC National Calypso Queen Tameika Darius, with her patriotic anthem Now More Than Ever, drew position five.
Following is the order of appearance:
1 Terri Lyons
