The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of central Trinidad, served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant, that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply tomorrow between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
In a statement yesterday, the authority said this has become necessary in order to facilitate repairs to a leaking 525 millimetre diameter pipeline along Taitt Madoo Road, Freeport.
Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the pipe-borne water supply schedules to normalise to some areas following the completion of repairs.
The affected areas include:
· Central Park
· Mayo
· Gran Couva
· Pepper Village
· Lightbourne
· Caratal #1
· &empmargin;Cotton Hill and environs
· Calcutta #1, 2, 3
· Preysal and environs
· Chickland Village
· Siewdass Road
· Lime Fruit Road & Mission Road Freeport (up to Lime Fruit Road)
