The late retired chief justice Clinton Bernard will be laid to rest tomorrow following an official funeral service in his honour.
A statement yesterday from the Ministry of Foreign and Caricom Affairs said funeral will take place at the Church of the Assumption, 70-72 Long Circular Road, Maraval, from 9.30 am.
The release said condolence books were available for signature by members of the public at the Hall of Justice, Knox Street, Port of Spain, on Monday and yesterday between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.
Bernard served as chief justice from December 1985 to May 1995 and left an indelible mark on the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago and other jurisdictions regionally.
Bernard died on October 26 after ailing for some time.
