Po­lice ar­rest­ed a man dressed in cam­ou­flage, in pos­ses­sion of a shot­gun dur­ing an ex­er­cise in the West­ern Di­vi­sion this morn­ing.

A 25- year-old from Quar­ry Street, Diego Mar­tin, was ar­rest­ed and the firearm seized.

In a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent, around 1:30 am, of­fi­cers went to a track off Bayshore Road, Mara­bel­la, and searched the area. Po­lice found one firearm, loaded with a mag­a­zine and sev­en rounds of 45 cal­iber am­mu­ni­tion, hid­den in a stack of wood. The firearm was seized.
