Officers of the Barrackpore Police Station have recovered a vehicle 24 hours after stolen from the owner. The vehicle was used in a robbery which took place on October 23rd 2020 in Barrackpore.
According to police reports, three men entered a Barrackpore home and absconded with a quantity of cash in both local and foreign currency, jewellery and mobile phones. The men then made their escape in the vehicle, a blue Hyundai Accent.
The officers recovered two of the stolen phones, one of which was in Penal. The vehicle was recovered in Barrackpore. The car was processed by the CID officers and enquiries into the robbery are continuing
