The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has advised that the Sahara Dust event this week is expected to be at peak levels today, Monday 13 July and tomorrow, Tuesday 14 July 2020.
In an advisory, the TTMS notes that Sahara Dust will be in the atmosphere in significant concentrations between the 12th and 15th of July.
Milder concentrations are expected to linger after the event.
The Met Service is advising persons who are sensitive to these events to take all the necessary precautions to safeguard their health.
