A Marabella man is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate today, charged with the 2019 murder of Damian Howe.
24-year-old JAMAL WARNER, of Enid Street, Marabella, was charged with the offence following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on Monday 13th July 2020. He is the second man to be charged with the offence.
Official police reports are that Damian Howe was at his Kitchener Street, Marabella home around 5:15am on Thursday 14th November 2019, when two armed men entered the premises and shot him several times about the body.
The assailants reportedly then escaped through the front door of the house.
Jamal Warner was arrested on Thursday 9th July 2020 in connection with the incident and charged with the offence by PC Rahim of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (Region 3).
According to police, the murder was solved previously in January 2020, with 26-yearold Jamal Butcher being charged on Monday 13th January 2020 in connection with the incident. He appeared before a San Fernando Magistrate on Tuesday 14th January, 2020.
