Mo­torists tra­vers­ing Morne Co­co Road in Mar­aval are be­ing urged to pro­ceed with cau­tion be­cause of on­go­ing pipeline con­struc­tion works, which have ne­ces­si­tat­ed sin­gle lane traf­fic.

The traf­fic re­stric­tions ex­tend from Sad­dle Road to the cor­ner of Saut D'Eau Road and Morne Co­co Road, Mar­aval.

An ad­vi­so­ry from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty ex­plains that the pipeline works, which be­gan on Fri­day 8th April 2022, will con­tin­ue un­til Tues­day 12th April.  The works will be car­ried out night­ly, be­tween the hours of 6:00 pm to 2:00 am.

WASA is urg­ing mo­torists to pro­ceed with cau­tion and to obey the in­struc­tions of the Traf­fic Con­trol Of­fi­cers on du­ty in the vicin­i­ty of the job­site, since on­ly sin­gle lane traf­fic will be avail­able.
