Day 3 in Cancun with TRIBE, Machel and the Melé Crew saw masqueraders take the streets of the Moon Palace Resort in Trini flair and fashion.
Two music trucks and close to 3,000 guests paraded the expansive compound of the all-inclusive Resort in an exhibition of T&T culture that has not been seen since Trinidad & Tobago Carnival 2020 on the streets of Port-of-Spain.
CEO of the TRIBE group of companies that now includes five other mas bands (BLISS, Harts, THE LOST TRIBE, ROGUE, Pure), Dean Ackin said with TRIBE said he was "extremely happy to see masqueraders stamping their name on the Moon Palace Road".
He explained that witnessing the effects that Carnival has on the spirit of so many reminded him of his team's "why".

"We've enjoyed doing this for so many years because of our masqueraders. There's no other feeling quite like seeing all the hard work you've put into something year after year come to life before your eyes, and better yet - be enjoyed by so many people, no matter who they are or where they're from. The same joy they feel, we as a team feel" he said.
After the main parade, masqueraders were led to the beach where they enjoyed their Las Lap.
But just before that, in true TRIBE fashion, a water hose came out, treating guests to sprays of cooling water to ease the heat of the blazing Mexican sun.
Soca king Machel Montano will perform at a concert tonight called 40 years a Legend.
The Cancun celebrations end tomorrow.
