Two men are ex­pect­ed to ap­pear be­fore a Mas­ter of the High Court on Mon­day, charged with the mur­der of Keron Mod­este, which oc­curred in the East­ern Di­vi­sion, on Ju­ly 5.

Ish­mael Gar­cia, 25, a co­conut ven­dor and An­tho­ny Ram­nath, aka ‘Sun­ny Boss’, 24, a con­struc­tion work­er, both of San­gre Grande, were joint­ly charged with the of­fence, af­ter be­ing ar­rest­ed by of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (HBI), Re­gion Two, and the East­ern Di­vi­sion­al Gang Unit, on Ju­ly 9.

Mod­este, aka ‘Keron Jack’ and ‘Darko’, 39, a ma­son, of San­gre Grande was stabbed and killed in the dis­trict on Fri­day 5th Ju­ly, 2024.

The men were charged by Cpl Oliv­er, al­so of HBI Re­gion Two last Fri­day, fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Act­ing Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Joan Hon­ore-Paul, on that same date.
