Two men were shot in Tunapuna on Wednesday night.
According to a police report, around 8 pm two men—ages 46 and 31 years—were at the home of a friend at St Thomas Street in Tunapuna, when upon entering a vehicle to leave, they were confronted by a masked gunman.
The suspect shot them and then fled the scene.
Police said the 46-year-old victim was shot in the back, while the 36-year-old was shot on the left arm.
The two men were taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for treatment.
In an unrelated incident, a 27-year-old man was shot at an NP Gas Station along Hollis Avenue also on Wednesday night.
Police said around 11:20 pm, the victim was standing near a pump when a silver Nissan Tiida pulled alongside him. Two men exited and opened fire on him.
The suspects re-entered the vehicle and drove off.
The injured man was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
