YTEPP Limited began exploring discussions towards a formal partnership with the Trinidad Youth Council (TYC) to empower and develop the skills of young people to support national development.
Montgomery Guy, YTEPP Limited’s director of Entrepreneurial Development and Support Services (EDSS), said on Monday that YTEPP and TYC met at YTEPP’s Head Office and Woodford Lodge Campus in Chaguanas in commemoration of International Youth Day.
He said, “In line with this year’s theme, From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development, key points discussed were enabling and empowering youth through skill, digital, and vocational training; fostering healthy interpersonal relationships with peers; and building stronger communities.”
Guy said YTEPP has been in support of TYC’s agenda and looks forward to this collaboration that further enhances youth empowerment. The TYC is an organisation with over 50 youth organisations under its umbrella. Shane John, the president of TYC, expressed the importance of exposing youths to different environments as he welcomed and encouraged discussions towards youth development with YTEPP.
