Exactly one week after falling at exercise and having to be taken to hospital. Learie Seecharan returned to race-riding at the Hastings Racecourse and showed he had no ill-effects by registering his fifth success for the 2021 season.
When contacted, Learie stated that he was happy with his win even though it came at the death. He was always travelling well within himself and when he began to get into top gear from three furlongs out he stayed on strongly for a good win.
The final two-race-day for the 2021 season will be held next today and tomorrow at Hastings Racecourse.
