Aaliyah Paul helped Las Lo­mas pulled off an­oth­er huge vic­to­ry in the Al­ter­na­tive Di­vi­sion of the Courts All Sec­tors Net­ball League at the East­ern Re­gion­al In­door Sports Are­na in Tacarigua on Thurs­day evening.

The goal-at­tack net­ted 23 goals from 30 at­tempts to lead her team to a 30-9 vic­to­ry over Po­lice X to seal Las Lo­mas' sec­ond straight win in the 30th edi­tion of the league which opened on the week­end. This per­for­mance fol­lowed up its grand 57-6 open­ing win over Jabloteh on Tues­day at the same venue.

Paul al­so did well feed­ing her goal-shoot­er Ky­la Jat­tan, who poured in sev­en goals from nine tries in a match which their team led from the first pass and held a 7-1 ad­van­tage in the first quar­ter. Las Lo­mas did not al­low Po­lice to add to its score, re­main­ing ahead 15-1 at the half. The leader pow­ered on in the third to stay ahead 22-5 be­fore clos­ing with the 21-goal vic­to­ry.

Met­al In­dus­tries Com­pa­ny (MIC) Tigers al­so sealed its sec­ond con­sec­u­tive win by a huge mar­gin, lead­ing through­out to com­plete a 40-9 win over Jabloteh. Just as in its open­ing match ver­sus the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies (UWI) where the Tigers dom­i­nat­ed with a 51-7 win, they ex­celled on both ends of the court.

The quar­ter scores read 10-1, 20-3 and 35-4 re­spec­tive­ly all in favour of the Tigers, which had Aaliyah Mul­rain (27/51) and Kel­lie Ann Alexan­der (13/19) op­er­at­ing in the shoot­ing cir­cle.

For Jabloteh, goal-at­tack Nico­la Solomon net­ted all of her team's goals hit­ting nine off 12 at­tempts.

In the oth­er match, Keon­na Noel led all shoot­ers with nine in 14 to see UWI to a 15-8 vic­to­ry af­ter its mas­sive loss to MIC in the open­ing round.

Ac­tion in the league con­tin­ues on Sat­ur­day with teams in the Pre­mier­ship and Cham­pi­onship di­vi­sions tak­ing cen­tre stage with the first match at 12.30 pm.
